In Q3, Michael Bennet’s campaign raised more than $5 million dollars and reported $4.5 million cash on hand – the largest single-quarter fundraising haul of Michael’s career.
DENVER — Michael Bennet’s campaign announced today that it has raised more than $5 million in the last quarter – a record-breaking fundraising total for Senator Bennet, and the most money he’s raised in one quarter in his career. His campaign has $4.5 million cash on hand leading up to the General Election.
Recent polling shows a strong lead for Michael. Emerson College Polling and a local Denver TV station released an independent poll in September showing Senator Bennet with a ten-point lead over O’Dea. Recent polls from the GOP polling firm Trafalgar Group and the left-leaning Public Policy Polling both showed Senator Bennet ahead of O’Dea as well.
Senator Bennet has led every poll of the race, with the most recent poll showing Bennet with a 10-point lead over O’Dea. His campaign has also received endorsements from all of the state-wide reproductive rights organizations in Colorado, six major labor unions, and Latino community organizations, and statewide advocacy groups.
“Michael’s running the strongest grassroots campaign of his career, and outraised his opponents every single quarter to date,” explains Senator Bennet’s campaign manager, Justin Lamorte. “Meanwhile, O’Dea’s campaign has fallen short of expectations, and he’s counting on appeals to Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump to pull him across the finish line.”
